Workshop Components
Part One: Basic approach to traditional Japanese bondage
1: A brief anthropological and historical summary of kinbaku
2: Japanese terminology necessary for kinbaku (a glossary will be distributed)
3: The rope, care and treatment (attendants will be supplied with materials)
Part two: Basic techniques to traditional Japanese bondage
1: wrist and ankle shibari with variations
2: upper body shibari with two patterns
3: lower body shibari with two patterns
Part three: Advanced techniques to traditional Japanese bondage
1: preparing for tsuri (suspension)
2: while suspending, safety and risks
3: various suspensions (three types)
